SUMIG Contact Tips

• Machined from tube stock, ID is swedged producing a consistent ID concentricity and dimension. OD is reduced to proper size work hardening the material producing smooth surfaces. This process allows wire to feed consistently and spatter buildup reduction.
• All the Contact Tips are machined by CNC machines guaranteeing high quality finished products.

• CU - Copper: great cost x benefit provides highest electrical contact , low resistance and arc starts:
• CuCrZr Copper, Chrome, Zirconium improves durability, capable of sustaining hardness at higher temperatures for high heat applications  S + HD:  an exclusive option developed by SUMIG to give superior current transfer and highly durable. This material option can last more than three or four times more than standard copper material. Increased life decreases tip change outs and costs . Various tip designs and dimensions are available such as tapered or straight options are perfect for difficult access joints. Available as the standard designs in short and long length.
